In short: Journal records and settings remain on your device.
Data stored by the app
Navigator Maya stores the selected date, interface preferences, Journal entries and saved dates in the browser. The Journal uses IndexedDB and may include a title, state, action and description entered by the user.
Where data stays
This data remains in the browser on the current device. The app has no Journal accounts, server database or cloud synchronisation. Clearing site data in the browser removes the local Journal.
Persistence and backup
You can request persistent storage on the Journal page, but the browser makes the final decision. The Journal can be exported as a versioned JSON file and imported on another device. Export and import happen locally and no data is sent to a server. Imported records are merged with existing records by identifier.
Analytics
When online, the site may load Yandex Metrica for aggregate visit analytics. Analytics does not receive Journal content. Metrica is unavailable offline and does not affect app features.
Deleting data
Individual entries and dates can be removed inside the Journal. All local data can be deleted through the browser’s site-storage settings. Recovery is possible only from a previously exported backup.
